Peace and Blessings Sister Girl. I created the Not Without My Hijab campaign to empower the Muslimah and educate non-muslimahs on why and ways to support the Muslimah. I completed a beta test of in person workshops over the last year to gauge the need for support of this nature. I was welcomed by an overwhelming response to host the workshops across the United States. We have since grown to have 2 self published books “Jennah’s First Hijab” and “Not Without My Hijab” with combined sales of 700+ copies and now a Play slated to debut 3/24/18. While this may seem like a lot I still feel that this does not put a dent into what I can do using my platform. So I have created an Empowerment Call. The goal of the call is to offer a resource for religious women to come and talk about some of their concerns and leave empowered. Here are just a few of topics we will cover during the 4 week trial.
